About

The purpose of my survey is the determination and application of Complexity and Chaos Theory in terms of the standardization of an inventory called “The H.E.S.I.O.D. Project Inventory”. The H.E.S.I.O.D. (Holistic-Emergent Social Interaction-Oriented Dynamics) Project represents a complex, dynamical, self- and dis-organized, emergent, bottom-up, unpredictable, non-linear, intra-individual, chaotic and simulated social reality. Unpredictability within a world of absolute determinism defines a chaotic complex system characterized by strong ecological validity, on the grounds that every single day we witness a world of unexpected events. The inventory in question composed by a sociometric task and self-hetero reference items focuses on group dynamics whilst produces and justifies complexity of social facts. Agent-based social simulations test the findings of HPI via a computerized mathematical model. Additionally, semi-structural interviews as quantitative analysis method contribute to initiate a dialogue between subjects and simulation clues. Psycho-social behavior, group dynamics, Human Resources Management, dyslexia and couple counseling are some of the applicability realms of HPI. All in all, the main goal of HPI is “escorting” various psychometric tests with the privilege of dynamically assessing their static view.
